After being responsible for the reorientation of the Museum of Decorative Arts, part of the Dresden State Art Collections, for five years, she is currently committed to the national and international positioning of the MK&G in Hamburg.
With her team, she is pursuing this goal with the aim of questioning and rethinking the design of the world together with the critical friends of the museum. Both the exhibition programme (for example Life on Planet Orsimanirana with Jerszy Seymour) and the establishment of the Freiraum are signs of the opening of the museum as a place for negotiation and discourse on central design issues of the present and future.
She is a trained carpenter and designer, was an assistant for the history and theory of design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna from 1993 to 2000, and subsequently worked independently as a design expert
